In the ongoing series »to build to bury to remember«, Sarah Ama Duah takes a closer look at the deconstruction of monuments and develops hybrid forms between

sculpture and body. She follows a sculptural approach and invites performers to reflect on the fetishized status of the historical monument performatively, by using alternative, temporary monuments made of latex created with their own bodies. What kind of diverse forms of sculptural appreciation are there? To whom do we want to dedicate this appreciation and what do we actually dedicate? How to deal with the void that remains when a colonial monument is demolished?
